Audio Engineer
Mike works with fellow audio-engineers in the pre-production and live broadcast of the daily show. He particularly enjoys being involved in both engineering aspects of the show on a regular basis, as it allows him the chance to keep his “chops up” in both the studio and control room environments. After a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps, Mike discovered his passion for radio in college. He worked his way up through several commercial AM and FM radio stations before joining the public-radio sector as an audio-engineer for “Monitor Radio.” He also did a short overnight engineering stint at ESPN Radio immediately prior to joining “The World.”During the baseball season, Mike works as an engineer for the Spanish Beisbol Network at Fenway Park. (No, he can’t get you tickets. Sorry.) Mike is also semi-active in the area’s electronic dance music scene.
