Christian Brown is an award-winning print journalist, specializing in public affairs and investigative reporting. He is currently a staff writer for The Downey Patriot newspaper, which covers politics, business, and sports news for communities in southeast Los Angeles County. In 2014, he won two Los Angeles Press Club awards for a news feature on regional homelessness and an investigative report on the quid pro quo acquisition of a bankrupt community hospital.
Brown earned a B.A. degree in Communications with an emphasis in Print Journalism from California State University, Fullerton in 2010 and is now a M.S. Journalism candidate at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where he contributes to Annenberg Radio News and ATVN.
