Chris Christie tells audience of 900 he’s not running for president (VIDEO)

Chris Christie said again Tuesday night in a speech that he wasn't running for president which, according to several U.S. news outlets may fan rumors that he's wavering on a possible run for the presidency.

Christie used his "American Exceptionalism" speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, to criticize President Barack Obama's economic policies, NBC reports.

Christie called Obama's proposal to increase taxes on those Americans earning more than $1 million “a re-election strategy” at odds with Obama’s statements about attempting to reunite Americans.

When asked in a question-and-answer session about a run in 2012,  he referred his 900-strong audience to the website Politico. 

"I saw something great today on the POLITICO website. They put a minute and 53 seconds of my answers strung back to back to back together on the question of running for the presidency," he reportedly said. "Everyone go to Politico.com, it's right on the front page. Those are the answers."

The site had pieced together a long string of video clips of Christie saying he's not a candidate for the White House.

Christie is on a three-day national fundraising tour for Republicans.

Even his brother reportedly said Tuesday that he was "not going to run."

"If he's lying to me, I'll be as stunned as I've ever been in my life," Todd Christie said.
