Sarah Palin: I would “help” with a brokered GOP convention (VIDEO)

Sarah Palin said Thursday that she would "help" if the Republican nominating contest does not produce a clear winner and leads to a brokered convention in Tampa, Florida later this year, Politico reported.

The Washington Post reported that while Palin's hopes for a brokered convention are unlikely to come to fruition, "Palin is good at seizing on trends … and her decision to latch onto the “brokered convention” talk is a sign of increasing interest in the idea."

In an interview with Fox News, Palin said of a brokered convention, "Nobody is quite there yet, so I think that months from now, if that is the case, all bets are off as to who it will be, willing to offer up themselves up in their name in service to their country.”
