Sexy calendar promotes Russia’s anti-corruption drive

Last year, Russia went through a war of the calendars – students at the country’s most prestigious journalism faculty put together a calendar saluting (half-nakedly) Putin. Other journalists responded by putting together their own calendar, pointing out the human rights abuses that have happened under Putin.

Next chapter: pro-Kremlin youth group Nashi has come out with an, er, sexy calendar to promote its anti-corruption drive. The title? “Sex Against Corruption.” Miss May poses in a wedding corset dress thing, delicately giving the camera the finger. “Don’t get married to a corrupt person,” reads the text beside her. Miss September is a sexy teacher holding a ruler and the text next to her reads “I’ll teach you to live without bribes.” Leopard-printed Miss November’s note reads: “Envelopes are only for letters.” And on and on.

The calendar has come out ahead of an April 16 rally, when Nashi will bus in 50,000 youth to take to the streets of Moscow and make a stand against corruption. These kids, by the way, are usually paid (with cash, or SIM cards, or simply tempted with a free trip to Moscow).

You can see all the pics on the blog of Nashi spokeswoman Kristina Potupchik. Enjoy. If you can.
