Hot Brazilians marching around in their underwear tends to be more of a Rio de Janeiro thing, but yesterday residents of the inland capital, Brasilia, got a taste too.

A handful of fit models paraded around the city’s federal district wearing little more than a mix of boxers, briefs, bustiers and – in a couple of cases – hats. Sponsored by the fashion website Finissimo.com, the annual event is ostensibly meant to draw attention to Brazil’s lingerie industry, and it seems to be working.
