A man opened fire at a school in Rio de Janeiro this morning, killing at least 8 and wounding 22 people in the western part of the city, Globo news reports. The shooter died at the scene, reportedly shot by police. Globo is quoting one school employee who said the wounded were all children. Early reports suggest the shooter was a former student at the school. So far there’s no report as to his motive.
