A Buena Park, California man was arrested after biting off an eyebrow of another man's face last Friday night.

29-year old Luis Miguel Aguillar and a 41-year-old man from Placentia, reportedly got into an argument during a party in LA. It quickly escalated to a physical confrontation, and Aguillar apparently punched the victim, knocking him to the ground.

The suspect, 29-year-old Luis Miguel Aguillar. Then he chewed on the eyebrow for a bit, before spitting it back out writes the LAist.

The victim, a 41-year-old, tried to save the chewed up piece of flesh before entering the local Kaiser hospital. It was too torn up, and doctors were unable to sew it back on. Andy Luong, Buena Park police Corporal, described the wound as egg sized. The victim will need to get reconstructive surgery, Luong said, accruing to LA Weekly.

Aguillar has been arrested on suspicion of felony mayhem, and because he is allegedly undocumented, will be held on immigration hold, the LA Weekly reports.

According to Luong, Aguillar has no memory of biting off the eyebrow, and that his actions were in self defense.

Both victim and suspect had been drinking and did not know each other prior to the incident, reports MSNBC.

After biting off the eyebrow, Aguillar fled. Police picked him up, and questioned him Monday. He will be arraigned Thursday.
