Bus and trains collide in Argentina
At least seven people died in the Tuesday crash.
At least 7 people are dead and more than 160 injured after two trains and a bus collided in Argentina.
The crash occurred a little after 6 a.m. today in the Buenos Aires suburb of Flores, reported the Argentine newspaper Clarin.
Police are investigating reports that the bus driver drove through lowered barriers to cross the railroad tracks. An incoming train slammed into the bus and then hit a second train.
The driver of the bus is among the dead, Transportation Secretary Juan Pablo Schiavi told La Nacion newspaper.
It took hours to free victims from the wreck. Police are now focusing on recovering bodies.
Last year 440 people and 165 vehicles were hit by trains in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area causing a total of 269 deaths, according to Argentina's national transportation regulator, the AP reports.
