LOS ANGELES — Whitney Houston's death was caused by accidental drowning, heart disease, and cocaine use, the Los Angeles coroner's office announced on Thursday, CNN reported.
The report also found that Houston had marijuana, Benadryl, and other medication in her system, People magazine reported.
Houston was found unconcious in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11, one day before the Grammy Awards, according to People. The singer was pronounced dead at the scene soon afterward. She was 48 years old.

The coroner called the manner of Houston's death an accident, with no trauma or foul play reported, according to Entertainment Tonight.
A source connected to the investigation told TMZ it was "very possible" Houston suffered a heart attack while in the bath, which may have been triggered by a hardening of her arteries as a result of cocaine use.
Houston was honored with a star-studded memorial and buried on February 19 at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, next to her father.
