TSA to stop using body scanners
The US Transportation Security Administration can no longer look at your lovely lady lumps anymore. The TSA will remove its unpopular airport body scanners after OSI Systems couldn't write software to make the images less revealing, Bloomberg News reported.
"It became clear to TSA they would be unable to meet our timeline,” Karen Shelton Waters, a TSA assistant manager, told Bloomberg. “As a result of that, we terminated the contract."

Right now the TSA uses two types of scanners, one which makes generic images, which is remaining. The other, more controversial scanner uses X-Rays, the Associated Press reported.
Those X-Ray scanners, of which just 174 remain, will be removed from airports by June, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The scanners weren't just controversial for privacy reasons. Other experts worried that the machines used too much radiation, and that their safety was unproven, Wired reported.
