Tourist helicopter crash near Calgary kills pilot

A tourist helicopter crash west of Calgary Friday killed 28-year-old pilot Matthew Goodine, the Calgary Sun reported.
Four tourists from the U.K. were onboard the helicopter for a 20-minute sightseeing flight when it crashed near Grotto Mountain, the newspaper said. All four passengers – two men and two women – survived.
Goodine died in the ambulance after being rescued from the crash site.
The Calgary Sun said the cause of the crash remained unclear.
The helicopter tour company, Kananaskis Mountain Helicopters, has suspended its operations for the weekend. The company has a fleet of 11 turbine helicopters and hosts more than 12,000 passengers a year, according to the newspaper.
Candian officials have not been able to access the crash site because of bad weather, PostMedia News said.
Weather may have been a factor in the crash, The Canadian Press said.
