International envoy Lakhdar Brahimi is meeting with senior Russian and United States diplomats in an attempt to resolve Syria's bloody conflict, the Associated Press reported. It is the second time that Brahimi has met with them in recent weeks.

The meeting comes as rebels seized control of one of Syria's largest helicopter bases on Friday, Reuters reported. It is the first time that they have captured a military airfield used by President Bashar al-Assad's forces.
