Road built around China couples house

It's life in the fast lane, sort of.
But it's really called a "nail house." The term, the Associated Press explains, is given to residents who refuse to leave home for government development projects. In this case, it was a road.
Duck farmer Luo Baogen, 67, and his 65-year-old wife were offered payment to move, but thought the cash incentive to relocate was too low.
For the house and land the government offered its standard 220,000 Yuan ($35,000).
According the BBC, Luo believes the house is worth 600,000 Yuan (about $95,000).
Luo Xuehua, deputy chief of the village in which Baogen lives (and Baogen's cousin) told the AP 600,000 Yuan was an unrealistic request.
"We cannot just give whatever he demands," Luo Xuehua said.
The road goes to a new rail station near Wenling city in Zhejiang province.
