Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno was fired amid allegations that former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky was involved with child sex abuse.
Ex-Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested Wednesday on new sex abuse charges, including four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, raising the total number of victims to 10 people, CNN reported.
Two new men brought charges against Sandusky, claiming the 67 year old abused them when they were children. The former football coach was was arrested at his State College, Pa. home and taken to a Centre County courthouse for arraignment.

"Today's criminal charges were recommended by a statewide investigating grand jury, based on evidence and testimony that was received following the initial arrest of Sandusky on November 5,” Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly said in a news release.
Sandusky was first arrested in early November and later charged 40 counts of child sexual abuse against eight prior victims before the new allegations surfaced. His sexual abuse against the accusers have allegedly spanned 15 years. The additional charges will be added in the preliminary hearing set for December 13, according to the Washington Post.
Both alleged victims were involved with Sandusky's Second Mile Charity, which the previous victims also participated in.

Sandusky maintains has maintained his innocence amid the sex abuse charges, admitting he showered with boys but without sexual intent."I have hugged them and I have touched their leg without intent of sexual contact," Sandusky said in an interview with NBC last month.
