Oscar Pistorius tried to revive dying girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp: Report

A new report alleges South African Paralympic and Olympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius tried to revive his dying girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp after she was shot.

Steenkamp, a model, was shot four times on the morning of Valentine's Day in Pistorius' house in South Africa, the Associated Press reported.

The runner, who has been arrested in the killing, is being held at a South African police station pending a bail hearing on Tuesday, the AP wrote.

Beeld, the Afrikaans language newspaper, reported security guards who heard gunshots in the house, said they saw Pistorius running down the stairs holding Steenkamp in his arms, according to the Daily Telegraph.
