No man, woman or dog was safe from barbs at Saturday night's White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington.

Hosted by late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel, press covering politics gathered to honor the best in political journalism while also listening to President Obama riff on his opponents and himself.

Here are some of the best one-liners delivered at the star-studded gala.

On his birth certificate
"My name is Barack Obama. My mother was born in Kansas. My father was born in Kenya. And I was born, of course, in Hawaii."

On Hillary Clinton
"Four years ago, I was locked in a brutal primary battle with Hillary Clinton. Four years later, she won't stop drunk-texting me from Cartagena."

On Mitt Romney

The dinner also handed out awards and $132,000 worth of scholarships, the Los Angeles Times reported.
