Obama leads Romney in Ohio, Florida battleground states

President Barack Obama has taken the lead over Republican nominee Mitt Romney in two key battleground states, according to two new Washington Post polls.
The President maintains "a significant lead over Mitt Romney in Ohio and holds a slender edge in Florida" according to the Post.
Obama has gained an eight-point lead over Romney in Ohio, where likely voters choose him 52 percent to 44 percent.
In Florida, the president leads by a mere four-points, 51 percent to 47 percent with likely voters. However, Obama has a nine point advantage with registered voters, the poll explained.
The poll confirms the President is maintaining his bounce from the Democratic National Convention and Romney's recent gaffes on foreign policy and comments about the "47 percent."
A recent Quinnipiac University/CBS News/New York Times poll also gave Obama the advantage in Wisconsin, the home of Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan, Virginia, and a one-point lead in Colorado.
