Nancy Pelosi robbed twice, suspect arrested

While America voted Tuesday, Kevin Michael Hagan, 21, was robbing California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi's house. And he was doing it for the second time.

Authorities captured Hagen on Wednesday burglarizing another house, according to the Associated Press. He was then brought in for questioning.

Sheriff spokeswoman Captain Tracey Stuart told the SF Chronicle the robbery was not politically motivated.

“This guy is just a burglar who is on probation for grand theft,’’ Stuart said. “This was not a politically motivated thing.’’

While Pelosi was away from home Monday, Hagan broke in. The next day he broke in again.

The New York Daily News reports Hagen admitted to breaking into 6 homes since Halloween.

Pelosi was reelected Tuesday. It's her 13th term representing California in the United States House of Representatives.
