Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe has been angered by a satirical television advertisement by Nando’s chicken. Here Mugabe greets local chiefs at Zimplats mine, outside Harare, on October 13, 2011, where he launched a community ownership trust.
NAIROBI, Kenya — South Africa's Nando's fast food chain has decided to pull its "Last Dictator Standing" television advertisement which pokes fun at Robert Mugabe.
It is a shame, but also an excuse to show it again here.
Water pistol fighting with Gaddafi, karaoke with Chairman Mao, a Titanic moment on atop a
tank with Idi Amin, making sand angels with Saddam … all to the tune of "Those Were The Days." Genius!
