The news comes at an inopportune time for Clinton, whose political star is rising once again following his well-received speech at the Democratic National Convention.

According to the Post, the book "promises to reveal… his penchant for kinky sex" and details from their now infamous Oval Office sexual encounters.

Lewinsky reportedly received $12 million for the memoir.

To make matters worse, friends tell the Post, the tell-all book will also recount Clinton's comments about his sex life with his wife, US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

However, at least one outlet sowed a kernel of doubt among the gossip about what the book will contain. According to the Huffington Post's sources, there is no book.

Friends of Lewinsky's said that the former White House intern has no interest in relieving a "painful chapter in her life," according to the HuffPo. Said one friend: "It’s time we all moved on."
