A certain stretch of highway in Texas is becoming well known among the music community. Not for a great venue, or wild crowds… but for drug busts.

Rapper Nelly is the latest in a string of high profile musicians including including Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, and Fiona Apple to be busted at "The Checkpoint" in Sierra Blana, Texas, reports TMZ.

Border Control agents searched the "Hot in Herre" rapper's tour bus and found 36 small bags of heroin, more than 10 pounds of marijuana and a loaded .45-caliber pistol.

According to MTV, a man named Brian Keith Jones admitted that the illegal items were his and was arrested. Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr., and five others who were on the bus at the time were briefly detained but released.

Nelly is no stranger to allegations of drug use. In 2011 he denied claims that he spent all of his money on drugs and gambling and nearly lost his house to foreclosure.

"Don't nothing go in this body but fish, chicken, turkey, protein, ROZAY, Ciroc, Remy and Budweiser!", he tweeted.
