Lindsay Lohan banned from Chateau Marmont hotel after failing to settle $46,000 tab

Oh Lindsay.

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan has been banned from the swanky Chateau Marmont hotel on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood after failing to settle a more than $46,000 tab, celebrity gossip website TMZ reported today.

Lohan lived in the hotel – where John Belushi died of a drug overdose in 1982 – for two months, the Daily News reported.

She was given her marching orders on July 31 after failing to pay a $46,350.04 bill, despite repeated requests to cough up.

TMZ claims it has obtained a copy of the official notice from the hotel’s general manager, Philip Pavel, and an itemized bill.

"As you are aware from our previous correspondences starting on July 8, you currently owe the hotel a grand total of $46,350.04 in charges for your stay starting on May 30, 2012," the notice said.

“… until we get the matter of your outstanding debt paid, know that we will be unable to host you on property or in the restaurant.”

Lohan, who is never far from a scandal, is also wanted for questioning by the Los Angeles Police Department in relation to the theft of $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses from the Hollywood Hills home of her friend, Sam Magid, during a party last week.
