Lena Dunham DID vote, so everyone can just cool their jets.

The creator and star of HBO series "Girls" has shot down rumors that she did not vote in the 2012 Presidential election, despite having shot a much-talked about ad for Obama in which she slyly compared voting to losing her virginity.

New York political gossip site Room Eight reported last week that Dunham bailed on voting and was not on file in the New York voters office.

However, Dunham was not going down that easily, and took to Twitter to set the rumor mill straight with the following series of tweets detailing her return home from India to cast her ballot:

According to Politicker, the executive order issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo after Hurricane Sandy to allow voters to use affidavit ballots anywhere in New York means that many of those ballots have not been accounted for.

Two Board of Elections officials said that they're “still working on the voter history for last year’s elections” don't yet have complete records, Politicker reported.

Dunham did cast a ballot in the 2008 presidential election and switched her registration’s address to Brooklyn after that.
