Kenya: explosion rocks mostly Somali Nairobi enclave

A large explosion rattled a predominantly Somali neighborhood of Kenya's Nairobi on Sunday, officials told Agence-France Press

"There has been an explosion in the area" of Eastleigh, police chief Moses Nyakwama told AFP. "We do not have any more details currently about the nature of the explosion or whether there are casualties involved." 

Local media reported several hurt by the blast, and the Kenya Red Cross confirmed to Reuters that the explosion had taken place.
