Ke$ha song pulled from radio after Sandy Hook shooting

Dozens of radio stations have pulled Ke$ha's "Die Young" from airwaves after the Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, Fox News reported.
Though the song was extremely popular, it was pulled for reasons of "sensitivity," RollingStone reported.
"Ultimately, 'Die Young' has, content-wise, nothing to do with what happened," Steve Jones, vice president of programming for Newcap Radio, told RollingStone. "But a lot of us went, 'That doesn't feel right, to be even saying the words 'Die Young' right now on the radio."

Ke$ha responded by bravely blaming others for her work. In a Tweet, Ke$ha said: "i understand. I had my very own issue with 'die young' for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO." At last, Ke$ha's songwriters get some credit for the work they do!
But that Tweet was later deleted from Ke$ha's account, Billboard reported. In a new Tweet, Ke$ha has now simply apologized for the lyrics without implying that she was forced to sing them. Overall, Ke$ha handled the situation with cla$s.
