US Weekly reported multiple sources had confirmed the Hollywood couple would tie the knot in southern Italy this week.
A source also told the magazine the celebrations began Tuesday, and the pair is taking "extra precautions" to ensure their wedding does not turn into a media circus.
The magazine said Biel was seen in a bridal boutique in Paris on October 8, and Timberlake enjoyed a bachelor weekend in Las Vegas in September, further fuelling rumours they are preparing to marry.
Life & Style Magazine said guests were sent "Save the date" letters in Spring.
“They were told just to fly to Italy,” according to a source.
Timberlake proposed to his long-time girlfriend 10 months ago during a vacation in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
