GlobalPost

Hollywood actor Harrison Ford has joined the star-studded cast of Will Ferrell's comedy sequel "Anchorman 2."

According to the Hollywood Reporter the 70-year-old actor will play a legendary broadcaster in the film "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," which begins shooting this month in Atlanta.

Harrison previously played an anchorman in the 2010 film Morning Glory,

He will be joined on set by Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and David Koechner, as well as a new cast member, Kristen Wiig.

While the plot details are under wraps, it is understood Ferrell will return as San Diego news presenter Ron Burgundy, and Carell, the intellectually-challenged weatherman Brick Tamland, will be a love interest for Kristen Wiig's character, The Guardian reported.

Ford is also tipped to be starring in an upcoming Disney Star Wars spinoff, centered around his famed character, Han Solo, reported Rolling Stone.
