Girl gang-raped on cruise to Bahamas, married man charged

GlobalPost

A Florida man who was on vacation with his wife has been charged after a teenage girl was allegedly gang-raped by him and a group of teenage boys while on a cruise to the Bahamas.

Casey Dickerson, 31, denied raping the girl but admitted he bought alcohol for a group of teenagers on the cruise last Sunday, the New York Daily News reported.

Dickerson also admitted to having sex with other women who were not his wife on board the boat.

The Orlando Sentinel reported the victim told authorities that she went to the cabin with a 15-year-old friend where Dickerson was partying with four teenage boys.

The girl claimed they were given alcohol and later raped by the group.

When she was finally allowed to leave the room, she was treated for her injuries at the ship's medical center where a rape kit was done. Carnival alerted the FBI to the incident.

The boys have not been charged but investigations are continuing.
