‘Gagnam Style’ beats out Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ as YouTube’s most popular video

"Gagnam Style" has ousted Justin Bieber's "Baby" as the most popular video on YouTube…ever.

And by ever, we clearly mean since 2005, the year of YouTube's inception.

South Korean rapper Psy's widely-played (and parodied) hit racked up over 803 million views as of Saturday, making it the video-sharing site's most-watched clip. To be exact, it had 803,761,928 views Saturday, compared to Justin's 803,658,345 for "Baby," NDTV Gadgets reported

Psy had already set YouTube's record for the Most Liked video ever posted: it has 5.3 million Likes and 323,000 Dislikes, compared to "Baby's" mere 1.4 million Likes and 3.1 million Dislikes, Billboard.com reported

"Gagnam Style" has become an international sensation, performed by everyone from Madonna to MIT's student body

Interestingly enough, Psy signed to Scooter Braun's Schoolboy Records in September, making him label-mates with Bieber, E! Online reported. You know what they say; keep your friends close and your YouTube competitors closer.
