Connecticut school evacuated over threat (VIDEO)

A high school in Weston, Connecticut, was evacuated on Wednesday and put on temporary lockdown in response to an unconfirmed threat, reported Connecticut's News12.
Reuters said the school is located about 20 miles south of the town of Newtown, where a gunman killed 20 children and six adults in a December shooting rampage that shook the nation.
Connecticut's The Weston Forum reported that the school, which has about 800 students, was evacuated in response to a threatening note, but police would not confirm that to FOX News.
The Forum said police did a bomb sweep, according to FOX, but Weston Communications Center Director John Ojarovsky told Reuters the threat was "unconfirmed" and Weston High School had been emptied as a "precaution."
No other schools were evacuated in the area.
The incident took place at 12:30 local time, said Reuters. No other details were immediately available, but Weston high school senior Kate Goldberg described the event to the Wesport Patch:
