Bullied boy dies after turning 12

On Saturday, Bailey O'Neill turned 12 as he lay in a medically-induced coma. On Sunday, he was taken off life support and died. His tragic death has raised questions about the bullying that led to his fatal injuries.

Bailey was a sixth-grader at Darby Township School. In January, another student allegedly punched him on the schoolyard,  the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Bailey's family said that he was treated at the hospital for a concussion and a broken nose and was released.

But a few days later, he began experiencing seizures. Doctors put him in a medically-induced coma,  NBC reported.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan is investigating what happened,  the Christian Science Monitor reported.

But some of Bailey's family members say that authorities aren't doing enough. They are frustrated that no charges have been filed yet,  The Delaware County Daily Times reported. What's more, Deputy Police Chief Brian Patterson said in early February that the alleged fight had been caught already on video surveillance.
