Bronx man charged with dismembering his mother wears trash bag to court

A Bronx man charged with killing and dismembering his mother appeared in court Thursday wearing a trash bag.
"I didn't do anything wrong!" Bahsid McLean, 23, blurted out after his lawyer asked for the suspect's medication, according to the New York Post. "I don't need anything at all. I didn't do anything wrong."

The lawyer said his client was wearing the trash bag because "he kept urinating on himself."
McLean continued to insist he'd done nothing wrong, even though detectives said they found a cellphone photo of him holding his mother's severed head, reported the Associated Press.
A criminal complaint said he stabbed 45-year-old Tanya Byrd and cut up her body with help from 26-year-old William Harris.
McLean lived with Byrd and his 7-year-old autistic brother, who was home at the time of the murder and dismembering, but didn't witness what happened to his mother.
She was last seen alive Monday, and her remains were found days later inside four plastic trash bags left along four blocks.
McLean and Harris were caught on security cameras buying a saw and the trash bags, and were seen again on surveillance footage two hours later lugging bags believed to contain Byrd's remains.
