Boston University hazing: Five men found naked, bound together with duct tape in basement of fraternity house

Boston police had received complaints about noise at a fraternity house near Boston University. But when they showed up to the house early Monday morning, they found something much more disturbing than a typical frat party.
Party-goers fled the scene, and after they left, police found five men bound together with duct tape in the basement. They were dressed in only their underwear, and covered in chili sauce, mustard, coffee grounds, honey, hot sauce, flour and empty sardine cans, ABC News reported.
The victims were "shivering" with "horrified fearful looks on their faces," police told ABC. Their backs were also covered in red welts, Reuters reported, but they declined to seek medical attention.
The suspects, meanwhile, hid in closets and bathrooms upstairs.

Fourteen members of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity at Boston University now face criminal charges for the apparent hazing incident. They will face more than 70 charges total, CBS News reported, and their landlord will evict them. “I’m not going to miss them, that’s for sure,” a neighbor told CBS. "There were always cops right in front of our house.”
On Tuesday night, the AEPi fraternity voted to shut down its BU chapter, the Boston Globe reported Thursday.
The university is now considering expelling the 14 students charged, Reuters reported.
