These days the American Dream comes relatively cheap: $3.5 million, actually.
A Florida man is selling three video game stores, a waterfront townhouse, a rental condo, three cars and two kayaks on eBay, in what he claims is a little piece of the American dream.
"I'm selling my American dream on eBay," Shane Butcher of Tampa Bay, Fla. told ABC News.
The 29-year-old is selling everything he owns in order to travel the world.
He figures that he'll travel a bit and then come back and start something new.
Though he is parting with all his material goods, there are a few things he won't part with.
"There are some things that aren't included. My dog, for instance. My wife and child aren't included either," Butcher told ABC News.
Butcher, who owns the “RU Game?” chain, was apparently inspired by similar sales on eBay and thought it was a good idea.
He assures buyers that his dream is a good deal.
“There’s always going to be trolls, asking what’s wrong with the business,” he said.
“I’m in the black. Everything I have, my home my cars, everything is paid off in full. This isn’t a fire sale, by any means,” Butcher said, according to Forbes.
Possible buyers include the People's Republic of China.
