6 IPOs to watch this week: Manchester United, Outback Steakhouse

This week a handful of companies are eyeing finial public offerings, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The timing coincides with the final week before many people on Wall Street take a break until after the Labor Day holiday.

According to the Associated Press, six IPOs to watch include UK soccer club Manchester United Ltd., Bloomin' Brands, which operates the Outback Steakhouse restaurants, and CKE, which runs Carl's Jr. and Hardee's fast food chains.

The popular soccer club is looking to raise some $300 million, with a share prices estimated at $16 to $20.

Other companies going public this week are: Peregrine Semiconductor, a technology firm that specializes in wireless; Performant Financial, which deals with collection services on unpaid loans and biotech firm Stemline Therapeutics, the AP wrote.

Wall Street is a bit IPO gun shy after Facebook's poorly executed IPO on May 18.

The stock closed Friday at $21.09, down 45 percent from its starting share price.
