Tropical Storm Gabrielle heads for Bermuda

A tropical storm warning has been issued for Bermuda as Tropical Storm Gabrielle swirls in the Atlantic, according to the Associated Press

Also Tuesday, the AP said Tropical Storm Humberto could become a hurricane as it heads southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, where a storm watch has been discontinued.

Gabrielle is expected to strike as early as Wednesday, according to Reuters, citing the US National Hurricane Center.

Bermuda's tide levels are expected to rise two to three feet above normal, said the AP

As of Tuesday, the storm winds had reached 40 miles per hour and were gaining strength, said the AP
