Official AP Twitter account hacked, tweets about White House explosions (VIDEO)
AP’s Twitter account is hacked.

The Associated Press sent out this alarming tweet after its account was hacked on Tuesday:
The false alarm was retweeted over 3,000 times and sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeting. The AP Twitter account has now been suspended — see AP's own story on it here.
The White House was quick to respond to the alert from the respected news organization, with a spokesperson assuring the public that President Barack Obama is in fact doing "fine." Watch it here:
