Two-year-old Logan Stevenson, who served as his parents’ “best man” at their wedding on Saturday, has died from cancer.
The toddler, who suffered from acute myeloid leukemia, passed away on Monday night, Christine Swidorsky Stevenson, his mother, wrote on her Facebook page.
“ … at 8:18 my son took his last breath in my arms Logan passed away im so sad upset and im in disbelief he is with angels and he's in no more pain.no more sickness no more hospitals.we love all of u for all your prayers thank u all for caring god bless u all! And most of all god bless Logan I'll c u in my dreams my son,” the heart-breaking message said.
Christine and her husband, Sean Stevenson, moved their wedding forward to last Saturday from next July after doctors told them Logan had just weeks to live.
Logan, who was born on Oct. 22, 2010, wore a pinstriped suit and orange shirt for the ceremony in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
His mother carried him down the aisle.
Hundreds of messages of condolence were posted online.
“We can't begin to understand what you and Sean must be feeling…Logan was a strong, brave little soldier who was loved by the best. Thoughts and prayers with you all!!,” Pat Householder wrote on Christine's Facebook page.
