Homeless hotel in Glasgow given five stars on TripAdvisor

A hotel for homeless people in Glasgow is apparently one of the best hotels in the city.

That's according to a ranking by TripAdvisor, which gave the hotel five stars for its great food and spa.

Except that it doesn't have either.

Comments said that it was the perfect place for a getaway and a great hotel for couples.

One comment read: "The marble floors and crystal chandeliers were breathtaking! You feel like a king!"

The rundown (see photo) Bellgrove hotel is a converted homeless shelter and center for addicts.

The Daily Mail reported that the ratings on TripAdvisor saw the hotel begin to get calls for rooms.

The manager of the shelter has been telling people it's really not what they're looking for.

TripAdvisor quickly removed the posts and rating from its website.
