Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak returns to court

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak returned to court on Sunday, three days after his release from prison into house arrest.
He is facing charges in a retrial for ordering police to fire on protesters in Cairo during the 2011 uprising in Egypt.
Also appearing in court were Mubarak's two sons, who face corruption charges, and former interior minister, Habib al-Adly, a co-defendant.
Mubarak sat along side the men in a caged security box during the proceedings, amid tight security. He was brought in a wheelchair, wearing sunglasses and a white outfit.

It comes on the same day three leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood were on trial on separate charges of conspiring to kill protesters.
Mohamed Badie, Rashad al-Bayoumi, and Khairat el-Shatar, face charges for ordering the killing of nine protesters outside the organization's headquarters on June 30.
Badie, is considered the Brotherhood's "spiritual leader." Al Jazeera reported the court adjourned the trial of the leaders as well as 32 other defendants minutes after it opened on Sunday until October 29.
The men did not appear in court for security reasons.
