Blasts reported at Turkish government buildings in Ankara

Explosions were reported at government buildings in Turkey's Ankara late Tuesday, said The Associated Press, citing local news reports. 

CNN Turk said two blasts hit the foreign ministry and headquarters of the ruling AK party, according to Reuters, while Turkey's Dogan news said bombs were thrown at the justice ministry as well as the AK building, said AP. 

Also citing local press, BBC News said a rocket had struck the seventh floor of the AK headquarters.

At least two people were injured in the explosions, according to CNN Turk. Two people were arrested. 

The news comes shortly after Turkish authorities cracked down on an illegal Marxist group, said BBC News. 

No group has claimed responsibility for the violence, but Kurdish militants have been behind similar attacks in the past.
