Anti-Muslim Brotherhood protests at White House, Washington Post and CNN (Storify)

Hundreds of mostly Egyptian Christians from all over the United States rallied in support of the Egyptian military on Thursday in Washington DC.

The protesters began their march from the White House and continued to major news organizations like the Washington Post and CNN, which they believe support Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.

Protesters also expressed their anger at news outlets calling the military's recent ouster of President Mohamed Morsi a "coup."

As the Egyptian military arrests Muslim Brotherhood leaders and takes the reins of power in the country, some Egyptians both at home and abroad believe that the Obama administration has tacitly – and sometimes actively – supported the Islamist party.

They also marched in front of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which they believe is the Brotherhood "embassy" in Washington.

The Washington Post closed their building off during the half-hour protest.

The protests were organized by Coptic Solidarity, a Washington-based 501(c)(3).
