The aftermath of Egypt’s bloody crackdown

GlobalPost

A day ago, a bloody assault on two pro-Morsi camps set off a wave of violent clashes across Egypt. More than 500 people are dead and thousands wounded.

These photos show the aftermath of that bloody day and what is left of the Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque in eastern Cairo.

The Muslim Brotherhood has already started fresh marches on Thursday and is calling for supporters to take to the streets this afternoon, according to correspondent Louisa Loveluck.

"You killed our sons; we will see you tomorrow," Morsi supporters chanted at the security service.
