Arkansas police killed a 107-year-old man on Saturday night in a shootout.
The incident began when police were called to a home in Pine Bluff, 50 miles south of Little Rock.
Monroe Isadore, 107, allegedly pointed a weapon at two people in the house. Police arrived at the house and led the two victims out of the house.
Isadore was apparently in the bedroom and fired at police through the door, missing them.
Officers called for back-up, including SWAT police, to negotiate with the elderly man.

The police officers slipped a secret camera under the door and found the man armed with a handgun.
After failed negotiations officers threw gas through the window to disorient him. Isadore allegedly fired at police who broke through the door and killed him.
The cause of the initial aggravated assault is still unknown.
Details of the incident still remain sketchy.
