Chronixx and Protoje release new track “Who Knows”

Young reggae revival stars and compatriots Chronixx and Protoje have just released “Who Knows,” a new collaborative track that pairs Chronixx’s heartfelt singing on the hook with Protoje’s confidently conscious rhymes on the verse. Riding the kind of subtly modernized groove that has become Chronixx’s stock-in-trade, the track calls for independent thought and constant awareness, with Protoje rapping “Information you think on your own/Or else you’re a slave to the things that you know.” It’s another good song in a string of them- not as powerful as either musicians best work, but definitely enjoyable, and well worth a listen (or three).
