Speed Skate Cheat Gets Two-Year Suspension

The World

US speed skater Simon Cho has been suspended from the sport for two years for tampering with the skates of his Canadian rival.

The Olympic medalist admits he sabotaged the skates of Olivier Jean during the World Team Championship in 2011.

Cho’s suspension means he will miss the Winter games in Sochi.

Anchor Marco Werman speaks with Canada’s short track skating program director Yves Hamelin about the suspension.
