According to the most recent report from U.N. data specialists nearly 60,000 people have died in the fighting in Syria.  The number isn’t an estimate, and it is most likely an undercount.
Such staggering statistics only begin to tell the story of the devastation the Syrian civil war is wreaking on its people.
