This summer, humorist Jack Handey – the deep thinker of Saturday Night Live’s Deep Thoughts – will publish his first novel, The Stench of Honolulu. It’s a picaresque adventure about two guys looking to steal a golden idol in a dark, mysterious land called Hawaii. (Any resemblance to actual Pacific islands is purely coincidental.) As a warmup, we’ll play an earlier work of Handey’s fiction, a set of little tiny stories called “Little Tiny Stories.”
