Latest Guantanamo Court Appearance by Alleged 9/11 Mastermind

A week of pre-trial hearings have begun at the Guantanamo Naval Base for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the September 11th attacks.

Also in court are four alleged al Qaeda conspirators.

A military judge is considering security rules for the war crimes tribunal including measures to prevent the accused from publicly revealing what happened to them in the CIA’s network of overseas prisons.
